Strategy, Performance and ICT

Strategy and Performance involves working with Councillors and Senior Officers to establish and monitor the Strategic Priorities and Actions of the Council.

The ICT department provides effective, efficient and specialist ICT operational support to all Services of the Council by providing a robust, reliable, and secure infrastructure to meet the Council’s modern business requirements. The ICT department consists of two smaller teams:

  • Infrastructure: Maintains the council's network, hardware, telephony and security systems. It also includes the Servicedesk, which provides technical support and advice to staff working on-site and off.
  • Development: Develops and maintains the council's applications, databases, websites, gazetteer and geographic information systems. It also provides data analysis, reporting, and mapping services to support decision making and service delivery.
