Visit our vacancies page to search for a role or complete a blank search if you want to see all of our job opportunities. Once you’ve found the job you would like to apply for, click ‘apply online’ and follow the steps.
If you do not work for Torridge District Council, your username is the email address you signed up with.
If you already work for Torridge District Council, you can sign into the site via your employee self service portal. This will then log you in automatically to apply for roles.
Click on the ‘forgotten your password?’ button, enter the relevant details and an email with a reset password link will be sent to your email address.
Completing the application form
No, as long as you save your application as you go, you can log out and come back to it another time.
Please contact hr@torridge.gov.uk with the name of your qualification as well as the level. Please allow one working day for this to be added.
Please ensure that you complete all sections of the form, including previous employment details and your supporting statement. All applications are scored on what evidence you provide to show you meet the essential and desirable criteria in the person specification, therefore in order to be successful you must explain how you meet the criteria.
Other queries
Certificates for all qualifications listed on your application form, proof of eligibility to work in the UK, two address verifications and a driving licence if relevant for the post.
For all jobs you’ll need to complete and submit an application form (unless a CV is specified). Usually, shortlisting will take place after the closing date and you will be notified of the status of your application.
If you are invited for interview you will receive an email informing you of any actions you need to take, such as booking an interview slot or testing that you may need to complete prior to your interview.
